The official governing body for association football in the state of Bihar.
The Bihar Football Association (BFA) operates as the apex sporting body for association football in Bihar, recognized by the All India Football Federation (AIFF) and the Bihar Olympic Association.
Our foremost objective is to inspire, nurture, and develop football at every tier of society across all 38 districts of Bihar. Through modern sports science, continuous coach education, and accredited referee training clinics, BFA is building an equitable, resilient football pathway that promotes inclusivity and athletic sportsmanship.
Guiding principles established in the official BFA constitution and strategic blueprint.

Conducting transparent state selection trials across all age categories (Senior, U-23, U-19, U-17, U-15) for national championship representation.
Organizing AIFF certification courses for coaches (D, C, and B licenses) and continuous refresher seminars for certified state match referees.
Expanding the women's state football league, school tournaments, and grassroots age-group leagues in semi-urban and rural districts.
